Brazilian Restaurants - What to Expect

When you think of Brazilian restaurants, what comes to mind? If you’re like most people, you probably think of delicious food, vibrant culture, and fun atmosphere.

Brazil is a country with a rich history and diverse culture, which is evident in the food and restaurants found there.

In this blog post, we will discuss what to expect when you visit a Brazilian restaurant.

We’ll talk about the food, drinks, and atmosphere, so that you can be prepared for an amazing dining experience!

Tapas like food

Tapas is meant to be shared and eaten family style.

You can expect to find a variety of meats, seafood, vegetables, fruits, and starches on the menu.

There will likely be various salads and side dishes as well.

At Tia Maria the Brazilian style croquettes and fried chicken hearts are a favourite amongst guests.

Lots of meat

Expect lots of meat dishes at any Brazilian restaurant.

Some of the most popular meat dishes include churrasco (barbecue), bife a parmegiana (parmesan steak), and frango a passarinho (fried chicken).

These dishes are usually served with rice, beans, and/or salads.

Although Tia Maria does serve a lot of meat, we also have a lot of vegetarian and vegan dishes for those that don’t eat meat.

Drinks

When it comes to drinks, caipirinhas are the most popular choice at Brazilian restaurants in terms of cocktails.

This refreshing drink is made with lime, sugar, and cachaça (a type of rum).

Of course, there are also many other non-alcoholic options available at Tia Maria, such as juices and sodas.

Atmosphere

When you step into a Brazilian restaurant, you can expect to be transported to another world.

The vibrant colors, music, and overall energy of the place will make you feel like you’re in Brazil even if you’re not.

At Tia Maria, we strive to create an authentic Brazilian experience for all of our guests.
